Open a WAV or MP3 file to read its header and look at its waveform and spectrum. Cut, trim, fade and silence parts of it, set markers, remove silent stretches, with undo for every step; then normalize it and export it as WAV or MP3. Decoding, editing and encoding run in this browser tab; the file is never uploaded.

These settings also apply to the “Processed” playback.
MP3 encoding uses lamejs, a JavaScript port of the LAME encoder, loaded the first time you export. The file gets a LAME Info frame with the encoder delay and padding, so players that support gapless playback trim the added silence. MP3 can overshoot the peak target by a few tenths of a dB; leave about 1 dB of headroom.
No markers yet. M or the flag in the tool bar sets one at the play position. A double click on the waveform selects the part between two markers, ready to delete.
